Dhaka--(UNB) – The 128th auction of the 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-year treasury bills were held here yesterday.

Tk 1448.50 crore, Tk 61 crore, Tk 6 crore, Tk 5 crore, Tk 112 crore and Tk 30.35 crore were offered respectively for the 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-year bills.

Of these, Tk 385.50 crore, Tk 3 crore, Tk 3 crore, Tk 5 crore and Tk 56 crore in total of Tk 452.50 crore of 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day and 2-year bills were accepted respectively.

The bids offered for the 5-year bill were not accepted.

As the total amount of Tk 1418.85 crore will retire in this week due to maturity of the bills, the net amount of the issuing bills will stand at Tk 966.33 (Tk 452.50 – Tk 1418.85 crore) during this week.
